One month since the 3.11 quake & tsunami devastated areas of Tohoku, and other news topics come up around the world. But life and work are still difficult in Iwate-Miyagi-Fukushima; Japan is not forgotten.
Current or former Researchers, Scientist, Engineers, Geeks, etc around the world show solidarity with our colleagues & friends in Japan by sharing a related picture of yourself.
-1- Take a picture of yourself with an image of Japan, such as the Japanese flag, or variations like the print-ready ones below.
-2- Post it in your facebook (group “WITH-JP”), flickr (group or tag “WITH-JP”), and/or send it to info(at)hasekura.net
-3- We will collect these from facebook, flickr, etc edit & present/publish them to/for the people/universities/research centers around Tohoku.
- And consider contributing to the efforts of the Red Cross, and others. WITH-JP is a direct, but certainly not the only way to help.
- How can you help promote WITH-JP? Tell your friends! via Twitter (#WITHJP), facebook (join group “WITH-JP”, flickr tag & group, etc, etc. Media inquiries welcome.
